:“A wonderful example of a well cared for bike. Many new parts. This veteran that has been used, not abused. Small flaws in paint but overall very nice. Bridgestone RB-1 Racing Red Bike in XL condition
This is legendary product inspired by earlier classical styled Italian Road Bikes. This one we dated as 1993 but it looks more like 2013 from it's condition! The basic bike's design plan is from the mind of Rivendell's Grant Peterson and has garnered cult following.  Often owners of obscenely expensive steel and carbon super bikes prefer the nuanced ride quality of the Bridgestone RB-1 over their more pedigreed bikes. The bike is equipped with eyelets front and rear for carrier racks and offers minimal fender clearance for those wet rides. The bike has been professional serviced recently with new cables, tape, chain and cassette.
Notes from satisfied owner of the same model and size bike:This is 1993 model RB-1/7, with the very interesting Richey-designed "biplane" fork crown. Ishiwata 022E quad-butted tubing, Suntour vertical dropouts. 72.5° STA,, 74° HTA. 60cm TT.  No chainstay bridge, which makes for nice "planey" rear end, and an OS top tube, which keeps the front end tracking straight. Bulge-formed lugs aren't super pretty, but do the job.
If you're wondering why know so much, it's because have one of these, in this exact size and color, and have had it since new. It's such nice riding bike have no reason to replace it. I've raced it, I've ridden it many tens of thousands of miles, and hope to continue to, Inshallah. Such good-handling big bike! Easy to ride fast. My go-to for anything not requiring an actual vintage bike.

Configuration Note:  This is great platform for low cost installation of Nitto or Soma Mustache Bars as both the brake levers and bar end shifters will mate perfectly with these.

PRICED TO MOVE!Note: This bike will be on display at the Steel Bike Rendezvous Classic Bicycle Show Sunday May 19th. If sold between now and then it will ship on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 or earlier.

WE SHIP ABROAD. We offer big discounts not shown on the listing for overseas shipping. Please request estimate to your destination.
