Balance had world championship gold medals to their name. Johnny Mutolo wonthe Junior worlds in Italy, and Mike King won the DH world in 93.The lastyear Balance was in business was 1998. The brand was the brainchild of formerBMX rider Harry Leary. Mike King made the big breakthrough for Balance, when hewon world cup championship gold around '93.
Balance was then owned by Taiwan firm until 1998 they stopped making bikesunder the 'Balance' brand. believe the Balance brand name was sold around in1999 the brand Balance bikes appeared in Europe, Germany.
