Europe’s biggest bicycle magazine invited over one hundred companies to send in their top level frame-sets to find out which is the best in the world.Carbon frames only were requested to be checked meticulous this time. Standard serial products and an amount of three test frames and forks of one model had to be sent in.The Storck Bicyle team decided to send in last year’s “Weltmeister” (world champion) and test winning frame-set 2009 Fascenario 0.7 Stiletto Light UMS fork. The Fascenario 0.7 and our Light UMS fork convinced once more. The frame out of that lightest frame-set TOUR ever tested, reached leading STW ratio (stiffness to weight ratio) of 114 Nm/°/kg. ratio which TOUR scaled as “not reachable” not too long ago and which two other competitors only reached this season.An ultra stiff frame can’t be comfortable is the common belief. The Fascenario 0.7 shows, with place number in frame’s comfort values, that this belief needs to be revised. Fascenario 0.7 and Stiletto Light UMS fork are by far leading in comfort – that with the best STW ratio ever. The competitors stiff and ultra stiff frames ended up in the mid to lower end with their comfort values.
